Welcome to Pattern Swirl. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of patternswirl.com (the “Site”) and any digital products purchased through it. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, distributing malware, scraping content in bulk, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including patterns, written instructions, tutorials, photos, charts, graphics, logos and the Pattern Swirl name — is owned by Pattern Swirl or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. 3. Free patterns
Free patterns are provided for your personal use. You may print one copy for yourself. You may not republish, translate, sell or distribute the pattern text, charts or photos, in whole or in part, without written permission.
4. Digital purchases
- Shop products are digital PDF files. No physical item will be shipped.
- Purchases are processed by a third-party checkout provider, and their terms also apply to your payment.
- When you buy a pattern, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it. You do not acquire ownership of the pattern.
- Prices are shown at checkout and may change at any time; a change does not affect orders already completed.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
5. User content and comments
If you post comments or send us content, you confirm you have the right to do so and grant Pattern Swirl a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Site. We may moderate, edit or remove any comment, including spam, offensive or off-topic content and self-promotional links.
6. Third-party links
The Site contains links to other websites, including affiliate links. We are not responsible for the content, products, policies or practices of third-party sites. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make patterns accurate and clear but cannot guarantee that they are free from errors or that your finished project will match the photos exactly. See our Disclaimer.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pattern Swirl will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Pattern Swirl harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version applies from the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the changes.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
