Pattern Swirl wants everyone to be able to enjoy crochet. We aim for our website to be accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Our approach
- We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where possible.
- Pages use clear headings, readable fonts and strong color contrast.
- The site is fully responsive and works on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Images include alternative text describing what they show.
- Pattern instructions are written as text, not only as images or charts.
- The site can be navigated using a keyboard.
Known limitations
Some older content, embedded videos or third-party content (such as ads) may not be fully accessible. We are working to improve these areas over time.
Feedback
If you have difficulty using any part of the site, or need a pattern in a different format, please email contact@patternswirl.com. We will do our best to help.
